Hey everyone... I haven't been posting much lately but now I need everyone's help!!
I have started a new diet/weight loss plan. I started on September 26th and have lost 7 pounds to date!! I really need to lose the weight for my health. Also the doc said that I may have sleep apnea again, but if I lose a good bit of weight, it may help it on it's on instead of me having to sleep with a machine like Dikkie does... I have a sleep study tomorrow night to find out for sure, so I'll post the results as soon as I know them...
I'm very encouraged and motivated to do this, but sometimes it's nice to hear kind words from people...
So... I am sticking with this and I will keep you all updated on my progress. I consider several of you dear friends and hope that you will help me out with this!
Thanks!!

remember, as with any weight loss plan, make sure that the one that you are on is a lifestyle change that you can sustain for the long term.
Good luck Liz. You are making the right decisions for the right reasons.
BTW...why you been avoiding the TSOT?

Thanks Woody... It will be a lifestyle change...
I haven't been avoiding the TSOT, there really just hasn't been much going on that interests me... How's the engagement going?
I would put a pic of me on here when I was 16... ten years ago... and many pounds lighter... but I don't know if I would get in trouble for it... I have on a bikini... I know it's not a realistic goal, but I want to lose around 50 pounds... right now I'll be happy two pants sizes smaller...

You should know better than to feed the animals, or in this case, leg humpers.

Liz, congrats on 7 pounds!
That might not seem like much but as I and you know, loosing any weight can be difficult....and I really like food.
Good for you!!!
What works for me is the treadmill. If you've never done that, start out slow and work your way up to a comfortable speed and incline. This will take time to get to a speed you are able to reach and maintain so be patient.
Pay attention to any pains in knees, joints etc. and if they are persistent, you might be pushing yourself too hard.
