Do you ever wish that maybe you had a different job?
Are you working in a career now that you wish you didn't??
Let's hear em.
If I could do it all over again, I would have joined the miltary and made a career out of it; probably the Air Force. But I'm pretty much OK with what I'm doing now.

The only way to get through college is to enjoy it. If you determine to enjoy it, you will. And I don't mean the drinking, parties, chicks EVERYWHERE and all that stuff; or not only that, but if you can find an interest or a passion in what you're learning, you'll learn better, more, faster, and you'll be good at the job you learned.
If you spend the whole time wishing you were somewhere else, or wishing you were making more money, or stressed about exams, then it'll be a damn long four years.
I spent 9 years in post-secondary education (glad to be out of that now) but I loved the fact that I was always learning. Otherwise I'd have quit and found something else to do. . .

I dont have the whole drinking party scene, its just a small local community college. Even though it isnt much, I enjoy it a lot. Its just that I am not book smart. I have always been hands on and what not. I mean I make decent grades but Its just not enjoyable. Plus, I suck hard at math, and I cant even pass the preliminary algebra class to get to college algebra. I will NEVER use this math in my lifetime. To me, its almost a waste of my time.
I can definitely say I wish there wasn't a need for my job, or jobs as the case may be. In addition to my National Guard job, I am an assistant prosecuting attorney, doing my county's child abuse and neglect civil docket for the past decade or so.
If I had it to do over again, I think I would have preferred doing something else. Perhaps teaching History or something of that nature, or, since I've always wanted to fly, perhaps becoming a pilot and seeing where that led.

I think that I would have done something away from agriculture. I specialized in CItrus and look where that industry is going. I almost went to police academy, maybe I should have. Apimpdad, you going to PCC?

Unfortunately . I don't know how much longer it will last though.
I actually really like my job. It has free travel to exotic and interesting places. It has exclusivity. It has potential for growth, and I'm always on the cutting edge and it has the potential for me to be an insanely-highly paid consultant at some future point.
That being said, I wish I had my sister's job. She's a test-driver for Michelin. She gets paid to drive exotic sports cars on closed racetracks, skidpads and roads, drive 18-wheelers, drive construction equipment....pretty much anything that runs on Michelins.....
