Default NJ: Use Your Vote to Protect Your Freedom!

Use Your Vote to Protect Your Freedom!

Defeat Governor Corzine on Tuesday, November 3!
(make sure you are heard in other states too...vote out your anti-gun representatives tomorrow!!!)

For years, Governor Jon Corzine (D) has attacked and campaigned against New Jersey’s law-abiding gun owners and sportsmen, earning him a well-deserved “F” rating from the NRA Political Victory Fund (www.NRAPVF.org).

During his time in Washington, then-U.S. Senator Corzine cast nearly two dozen votes against America’s gun owners and sportsmen, even voting to allow gun manufacturers to be sued for the violent acts of criminals. Corzine voted against the Armed Pilots program—one of only a half dozen senators to do so—which now provides a first line of defense against terrorist attacks such as occurred on September 11. So extreme are his anti-gun views, he even supported an amendment that would have banned conventional rifle ammunition used by millions of hunters and shooters by redefining it as “armor piercing.”

As Governor, Corzine has continued his assault on New Jersey’s gun owners and sportsmen, championing and signing numerous anti-gun bills, including a bill (A339) that prohibits law-abiding New Jersey residents from purchasing more than one gun a month. He’s even backing legislation that would require firearms manufacturers to “microstamp” new handguns in such a manner that they would leave a unique serial number on shell casings when fired. Since no handgun manufacturers produce such a handgun, handgun sales would effectively be banned in the Garden State.

Of course, Corzine just doesn’t have it in for gun owners, his disdain for hunters runs deep as well. In 2006, Corzine thwarted the New Jersey Fish & Game Council’s decision to hold a black bear hunt, siding with “animal rights” extremists against New Jersey’s hunters. More recently, he’s chosen to neglect the needs of sportsmen by failing to fill three of the eleven seats on the Fish & Game Council.

Time and time again, Governor Corzine has led the charge to take away our rights and has shown his distrust for New Jersey’s law-abiding gun owners and sportsmen. It’s time for a change!

ON NOVEMBER 3, VOTE FREEDOM FIRST AND DEFEAT GOVERNOR CORRUPT CORZINE!!!
