I think it looks pretty sweet. Nice Stance and exhaust looks bad@$$.
The motor would be sweet but it looks like it's lacking the Raptor's suspension.

If they build it it will be the first stock Silverado ever that doesn't sit too low. I could sit nose-to-nose with drivers of the stock Z71 Silverados in my unlifted Dakota 4x4.

I can't see how these trucks will sell well with the extended cabs. Until they make them like the double cab (four regular type doors), they won't sell well.

I imagine they start with one configuration, the shorter, lighter truck, and gauge demand before going with the Crewcab version. Probably no sense in doing this with a number of different bodystyles then finding out they don't sell.

The shorter wheelbase is better for off roading so that could be why. A 4 door like my Double cab would be sweet to me since I need seating for 4 while off roading but it is just really long. The shorter wheelbase Full Size trucks do better off road.
I like the idea of the Carbon Fiber fenders and stuff for less weight but once you put long travel on it (If this is going to be a Raptor chaser) you would have to replace with fiberglass anyways. The 20 inch wheels are LAME for off roading. No pics of the suspension or anything so can not coment on that or compare it to the raptor.. I like Chevy better then Ford (Personl Experience) but if the 2 went head to head right now in the desert my money would be on the Raptor.

I like the way teh Chevy looks (maybe b/c it's new) but if they "bring it to the market" it'll be completely different. What Ford brought is badass.
They're using the BDS 4" lift...
I second teh vote for hating 20s for off-road

If you or a relative is in the US Military ... make sure you get ALL important info. (injuries & medical treatments) documented in your SMRs.
(Service Medical Records).
ALWAYS keep a COMPLETE copy of those SMRs in a secure place that you can access.
This is super important later when a "claims issue" or etc. arises.

Fords Raptor is all hype as I wrote in the thread on that.
The BDS lift on this thing is a drop bracket kit. NO GOOD for the desert so this is a street machine. It has a drop lift and 20's. Mall crawler. The Raptor would smoke this off road.
Chuck the tall panels are supposed to be to clear the big tires when the suspension moves...Like fiberglass.

didnt they have a "ZR2" package on the S-10 back in the 90s? i had a buddy who had one, had big tires and sat up taller but thats about it i think...
but at least this one is as ugly as its competition so its at least fair comparision...plus the raptor isnt available in a real truck either (crew cab)....have no idea why anyone would buy a extended cab or regular cab anymore....at least our DC trucks have four real doors and as much room as a GM crew cab...
Yeah, Toyota marketed the DC adn teh Cmax really well.
You're right about the ZR2. My neighbor has one and I think another one of my neighbors has a ZR2 Blazer.
I'd show you all the pic I have of it but it's very inappropriate.... In other words, one of his fraternity brothers thought it would be funny to put a dildo on his tow ball. It was really damn funny haha.
