Be On The Lookout: A robbery (211 J/O) just occured!!
The suspects were last seen in the Baton Rouge area wearing yellow and purple uniforms. Property stolen included common sense, national opinion, and bags of C&H Sugar.
The victims, wearing cardinal and gold were last seen in the Los Angeles area and were enroute to New Orleans before they were robbed. The change of plans now has them headed toward Pasadena, CA. The victims have not been harmed, they are used to having their belongings stolen from them by east coast operatives.
If you see these armed and dangerous suspects, do not approach them yourself. Please call the appropriate (BCS) authorities immediately!
Thank you for your attention, we will now return to our regularly scheduled programming.
While I agree with you completely (and I'm from Arkansas), I wonder what everyone will say if Michigan beats USC. Does that mean the BCS was right? All opinions welcome.
Personally, I think the BCS is bull, as was the previous system. Until there is a playoff, everyone will have an opinion. Right now, it's about the money, but let's at least make this fair. USC is #1 is every poll, therefore they should be playing LSU, since they are #2.

I know you are po'd...rightfully so, but it's not LSU'S fault. Ithink you know that. I do think LSU deserves to be there, but not against OU.
The obvious solution is a playoff....three teams w/ one loss.
I think the reason why OU lost is aperfect example of why the BCS is so screwed up....they knew that even if they lost, they'd still play for national title b/c their BCS numbers were so high. It's not to blame OU either..B C S!!

<RANT>Nonetheless the BCS does suck even tho this year a Bruin wrote the software. There needs to be a playoff system, but you can't expect college kids to be playing a 16 game season and still be considered to be "in" college. So the Athletic directors need to figure it out: cut back on the nonconference games, dump the BCS AND Bowl system, and devise a workable playoff solution just like every other NCAA sport. The big TV $$ will still be there, albeit to only a few top 8 teams/schools, but then there could be "Bowl" games for the better teams that did not qualify for the playoffs. Folks will still wanna watch those games. The stickler is Independent teams that have no conference allegences. I think that they should just join a conference of their choosing, and get over it already.</RANT>

Why would USC be ranked #1??? They got beat by a weak Cal team, and OU got beat by #16 Kansas State. LSU got beat by now #17 Florida. That means that cause USC got beat by a chitty team they shouldn't be ranked #1 and is why they aren't playing for the national championship. SOS does matter, just look at TCU. They were b*tch!n all year about how they should be ranked higher because they were undefeated then they lost to Southern Miss, next week they only beat the 0-12 SMU Mustangs by 7 points. Every team knows that the BCS is used and if they want to compete for a National Championship they should setup their schedule to where the BCS will put them there. My prediction is that OU will beat LSU and the Michigan v. USC game will be very close. I think that USC needs to concentrate on beating Michigan which will def. give them a run for their money.

I sure did enjoy that USC-ucla game! I even went in person. My buddy, a Bruins fan, bought the tickets. He lost he bet, so he will be buying the tix again next year.
