Default Do you tip dealership courtesy shuttle drivers?

I've always tipped them around 5-8 dollars, just wondering if it's normal for them to receive tips or not. I have had one driver refuse tip once, while all the other drivers gladly accept it.

So, do YOU tip dealership courtesy shuttle drivers?

Only Cali has courtesy shuttles at dealerships? Is it California law or something?

Toyota dealer in TN. where I purchased my Tundra has courtesy shuttle. Really great if getting work done but not needing a loaner car.

No. The one time I had to use one in recent memory he was an a-hole who got clicked on his Nextel from the dealership about 60 seconds after departure saying there were more customers waiting. He said they were SOL and he'd be back in a half hour. Then proceeded to grumble in front of me for another 5 minutes about how it was the customer's responsibility to be standing at the shuttle pickup point waiting and he couldn't go running through the dealership hunting them down. And the girl who clicked him was an idiot for not understanding this. The old fart was probably already drawing a pension from some other job and doing this because he needed extra spending money and something to do all day, but wasn't even doing what I felt was the bare minimum to earn his base pay.

A left and right tail light lense, a front and rear door skin, and one passenger side paint job later, she finally says 'it's just too big, I don't think I like driving it anymore.'

I have 2 dealerships in my area, one doesn't have them but they pissed me off so I don't go there anymore. The other one is just outside the dropoff distance to my house. I usually just have them drop me off at my wife's work and I take her car home. It works cause I pick her up after work and we get the truck. But no, I don't tip them, one time a lady offered a tip and the driver refused, I don't know if they all do though. I do tip the shuttle driver at the airport because he was handling my bags, usually $1 or $2 a bag.

I use the courtesy shuttle all the time since I have the free oil change thing... very handy.
Tipping is all based on the driver... $5 at the most.
