Just out of boredom, thought I would post this, anybody into it? I just "play" with mine, I am not a hardcore racer, I wish they made a Tundra body for it. Mine is an RC10GT truck, with no hop ups (accessories), I clocked it @ 32 mph once with a baseball radar, suppose to go 35 mph, but I am sure mine is not set for top performance as you have to know what you are doing to tamper with that stuff. Everybody who sees it thinks it's the coolest thing they have ever seen! though, they think it runs on "real" gas, I wish, as those of you may know, the gas for these things is around $30 a gallon! But good clean fun. It pays to be from a small town and go home from Houston every weekend, I have the best truck in town IMO and all of my friends, and cool stuff like my nitro RC truck, that wouldn't even get a 2nd look in big places where they are "known" can draw a crowd at the park in Luling. Like I said just bored , thought I would post something "new".
BTW: for those who don't know I am referring to nitro powered Radio-Controlled cars/trucks. They have a little 1 cylinder power house and work just like a real engine, except with no colling system (air cooled). the nitro is a mixture kind like weed-eater or chainsaw gas, but is a much stronger alcohol based fuel.
Exterior-SS Nerf Bars, Bed rails, Delta tool chest, Sylvania silverstars in headlights (removed, burned out too often), Flowmaster Muffler w/2 SS corvette tips, MY foglight mod, K&N FIPK

Factory/Port-LSD, power slider, 17" split-spoke alloys, color-keyed:grille, bumper, mirrors, and side moldings, steering wheel audio controls, limited seats, heated side-view mirrors, compass/temp rearview mirror, tow package, heavy duty battery/alternator, in-dash 6cd changer/tape player, tint by Madico, custom glass etching, permavin security, RS3200 VIP security.
I used to be really into those little gas powered rc car's. I got out of it cause it just got too expensive. I kept spending money to make it faster and the faster it got the more parts i broke... but man do i miss it
I was into it. I have a Kyosho Inferno DX II (a poor man's mp5). It has the huge .21 engine and was some good fun racing full sized cars in parking lots and winning. I got out of it when the tundra came along.
I have a RC10GT too. It is a sweet truck. Its a lot of fun too. My biggest problem with it was the range on my remote. I would always run it out of the radio range and it would run off full throttle into whatever happened to stop it. It hasn't run for a while now. I'm pretty sure I don't have enough compression because I stripped a head bolt. Oh well.
It sure was fast though and it would do mean doughnuts in the dirt or on the street.
