Default I Friggin' Give Up...

I've spent the better part of the last 25-30 minutes trying to find a thread that I viewed just yesterday (6/21/04). After looking in every forum which I have access too as a "registered member" (as well as doing several advanced searches) I've exhausted my resources for finding that thread. That said, the only resource I have left, is to start my own...

This "thread" (which I can't seem to find) was dealing with "NEW" Tundra Solutions decal ideas. The individual who started the thread, I think, is on the TS Team... I just don't remember. In any case, he was looking for new ideas for decals and indicated he felt sure there were at least a few graphic designers in these forums and was asking them as well as others to kind-of "step-up-to-the-plate". Well, as an art director for the last 15 years, I "wanted" to do my part, hence my reason for trying my "damnedest" to find that thread.

Being BRAND NEW to these forums and this website, I still have a learning curve to work through I guess. If not finding this thread has anything to do with my not being a "club member", then I guess that'll just have to be the way it is... at least for now anyway... since my wife and I just bought TWO NEW TOYOTAS (i.e. Tundra D/C 4x4 & Camry XLE) last month!! Money is tight, as you can probably guess!

With all that said, I'll just submit the below decal ideas for the members and moderators to ponder over...

Later,
Dave

NOTATION: The thread "I FRIGGIN' GIVE UP..." has been moved from the Q&A Forum to G/C and merged to " The 'Decal' thread..." for replies. ---- Possum

I searched through the posts also and recall the thread you were talking about but can't seem to find it either.

There is this one which does talk about it, but I thought there was one that had its own thread with title something like, "New Tundra Solutions Stickers Ideas" or something to that effect.

I do believe shelbix2020 was the person you were referring to also.

Hey Dave, great job on those, I personally like the second version!

I have a drawing in my locker of a stork (or is it a heron?) trying to swallow a frog. The frog is halfway in the stork's mouth, except the frog is choking the stork with his hands, preventing himself from being swallowed. The caption is "Never (friggin' ) Give Up!"

from a fellow Dave.

Default Latest Update To New Td Decal...

Hey guys,

After a few PM's with TundraSoul, I've made an update to the 2nd of the two decal images (the one everyone seemed to like best) which I attached in my original post.

These are per TundraSoul's suggestions, utilizing the "ts" logo at the top of the page.

Let me know what you think...

Thanks,
Dave

Still like it, although the block letters (1st version) are easier to read. Did a quick side by side, and the changes are minor.

Default The 'Decal' thread...

Hey gang,

Check this thread out:

http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...ad.php?t=27791

I think this a great design for a new TS Sticker and should be taken under consideration.

PS to Moderators: Seems a little silly to have a 'mods only' reply restriction in the questions forum - just my opinion...

Brad

I like it! If it was available with the Red letters available in different colors it would fit more of our truck themes. Like mine, I want to keep it all silver and blue.

Ok Gang,

I'm going to merge that thread to this one so all of you can reply to it.

This thread may scramble a bit, but doing the best I can here.

Sorry Brad the link was invalid when I clicked on it.

I like the decal, but I think that an informal "showroom" of designs could be cool.

Nothing fancy, but if you want I think this would good place to put pics of TS.com or TUNDRA/TACO/SEQ/etc.. decals.

Great decal work above. I have also made a quicky logo just for cool looks
check it out.

Very nice!
I like the all blue logo best, maybe you could try gradient effect on checkered patern so it has the same effect as the TS.

All blue
