The worst laptop I have ever taken apart was a clamshell Mac. The fugly turquiose and clear cover. Second to that would be a Acer powermate. I like the new Mac's and the IBM's.

I got a used laptop and the fans were extremely loud. So I took apart a broke one I had and put those fans in. Not to bad even though I had to take the whole thing apart to get to them. But now I can do ti in just a few minutes. No different then working on a car. Just smaller. Once I take something apart I can get it back together.
