Default Ebay TRD Dual Exhaust's

Anyone know there have been dozens of TRD dual exhausts selling from Canada? I mean they are all selling for around 400 brand new. I just thought it was strange that every seller is from somewhere in Canada, eh?

I wouldn't mind finding one new for $400. Are these genuine or do you think it is a scam/copy?

Maybe unloading them because outside of cosmetics they don't do anything.

But, but , but, their ad says it increases horsepower. It must be true because I read it on...

I am interested because of all the duals out there, these are the only ones that I have heard don't ever have any drone in the cab. At least no one I have heard has reported the dreaded drone from these. (Someone correct me if I am wrong and save me money!) My truck already had duals with a drone when I purchased it and I do prefer the look. I don't want to throw good money after bad trying every type/brand of exhaust to eliminate the drone. I am also considering the single zoomers exhaust because it doesn't drone, but yes, I do like the cosmetic look of duals out the back. I know these are out the side, not the back, and that might be why I may go with the zoomers instead of these.

I took some pictures of my [genuine] TRD dual exhaust system for my '03 Tundra before it got installed - we can compare pictures if you want to verify it is not a knock-off.

I wonder if anyone on this board has purchased one. It looks genuine, but I would still be nervous. Its basically 4-5 exhausts a week that are being sold...all from Canada. I'm just hoping to pick up a used one for around 200...(ya I know.....ain't gonna happen)

There is a used one for sale in Classifieds for $350 + shipping, but if these are the real deal they would only be $85 more than that with the increased shipping charge from Canada.

I'm tempted too, but don't want to waste money.

Ya I would love a set of TRD Duals on my truck. Just can't spend that kind of $$ for them. I had Borla and it sounded great, hated the drone.

I "asked the seller a question" about them and said I thought their price was a little cheap for a "genuine" TRD exhaust.

Their response: "If you want to pay more be my guest. It is a genuine trd exhaust system. Thanks"

Just remember the saying about "If it sounds too good to be true...."

The best price for dealer TRD's I've seen has been at Champion Toyota. I called and their price is $718.75 + shipping. This was advertised in a sticky in the classified forum:

"Hey guys, my name is Shannon Brookshire and I am in the Internet Parts Department at Champion Toyota of Houston.

Champion Toyota is offering 25% off list price on Toyota Genuine Parts to ALL Tundra Solution Members.

We are currently working on getting our off-road site up for all you 4x4 guys and I will post that here as soon as it's up and running. It will have many aftermarket off-road parts and accessories for you to purchase!

Visit us on the web at www.toyotaworld.com to check out our site. You can PM me here for any price quotes or if you have any questions you can call me toll free at 1-800-327-2087 (ask for Shannon).

Thanks!"
