Default Need To Reset The Check Engine Light

Hello,

I have a 2000 Toyota Echo. I've been having some issues with stalling and have cleaned the air flow sensor, as instructed in another forum. The stalling has stopped, but I need to get the check engine light to turn off.

I need to reset the computer by pulling out a fuse. I can't figure out what fuse to pull. I've been told different fuses by 2 people. I've pulled both out and placed them back in and the check engine light won't go away.

Does anyone know the exact fuse that resets the computer? If you do, could you please clearly describe what the fuse looks like and where it is? Even if you know the name of it that would help. It's not easily noted in the Echo manual. Sorry....I'm not very mechanically inclined!

Thanks!

You could just disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery for a few minutes.
Might be easier...

Thanks! I'll try that and see how it goes.
