Does anyone have an explosion diagram of the front bumper area of a 2000 toyota echo? I think the shady dealer I bought my car from may have "neglected" to replace the reinforcement bar and bumper brackets after "fixing it" after "the accident"
. Basically I have the two frame rails sticking out of the front of the engine area with empty threaded posts and nothing connecting them to each other...again
So now I need the diagram to see what parts I need to buy to make my car a little less life threatening to drive. If one of the frame rails is mis-aligned (ie, the reinforcement bar doesn't fit squarely) would hitting the frame rail with a sledge hammer to straighten it cause the air-bag to deploy?
Are there any legal issues that I can take up with this shady dealer? It's my fault for not checking the car over very well, but come on, the guy knowingly let me buy a car with missing safety items...thats gotta count for something, right?
So yeah, if you could please email a *.pdf of the bumper diagram it would be great!! Thanks!
