Default Help Please.....1994 Toyota Celica EFI issues

Hello. I would like to start out by saying hi to all the members of this forum.

I recently purchased a 1994 Celica and it has a problem of blowing the EFI fuse. Now here is the strange part. It does not do it all the time, but most of the time. You can start it one day and it might run for an hour or all day and then all of a sudden it will blow the EFI fuse.
It will then continue to blow the fuse until you let it sit for a few days and then it will not blow it until it runs for a little while again. Really weird and very frustrating. I cannot find the reason for it blowing.
The wiring has also been messed with a little bit by the previous owner, ...ie the O2 sensor is cut....one wire coming from it but two wires going to it????? cannot figure out that one unless the previous owner put the wrong o2 in it. But that is the easy part to fix...the EFI is the hard part. Can anyone help me on the problem?
Thank you very much for time and help.

What engine do you have? 4a-fe or 7a-fe
The wrong 02 sensor or being wired improperly may cause the "EFI" fuse to blow.
I would fix that as a first step and proceed from there.
