Default question on headers for 4wd T100

Ok, I've got a 98 Xcab 4wd T100, I have done the K&N FIPK cold air intake, I got a Gibson exhaust for it, looking at headers possibly. Question is I'm not seeing anything directly for the 4wd T100. I know there are some trucks with headers out there, what headers are they? Just don't wanna get a set and find that something interferes with installation. Also, I'mvery happy with the exhaust now, it's not too loud in the cab. How loud will it be with the headers installed? (obviously for those with them already)
Thanks!
Brian

I have a 96 that I just put a Downey air intake on, and will be getting a Gibson swept side cat back soon. I don't care about sound (I'd actually like it as quiet as possible) and mainly am trying to squeeze a little more power out, especially since I cannot supercharge mine. Did you notice any power gains, especially in the lower rpms? As far as headers, seems like there are not too many choices. Gibson makes them but only for the 2WD T100s, and Downey used to but no longer does. I have heard JBA does but have not found any online, so that leaves TRD as the only choice I know of. But, then you are paying what seems like 30% more for the name...

Let us know if you find anything!

I have a 96 4X4 WD with the TRD headers. Have replaced the joint seals twice to stop the leaking at the joints. Appears to help the HP at the top RPM's (above 3500 RPM). Doesn't appear help much at the bottom end. Hope this helps. If I had the 98 model, I would have gone with the S/C with the 7th injector and been done.

See, all I see about the 7th injector setup is for every OTHEr truck. I haven't found it listed for the T100. So I don't know. I do like the exhaust on the truck. If you're serious about wanting to get it, I bought mine from autoanything.com for 283 shipped. I got an email from them yesterday saying they have 20 off and free shipping with a reg code. So if you want it, I can post up the code for the discounts.. I noticed a power increase, but it's kinda doggish on the highway. It kicks down a gear more often. I don't know if that's because of the extra air in and out, and it just wants to go, or if it's just sucking that bad. hard to tell. My 2wd T100 feels alot better on the highway. Doesn't kick down a gear nearly as much to maintain speed, or to pick up a few mph to pass someone. Ultimately, I would like to do the supercharger kit, just have to do things in moderation. Build up to it. Also concerned with putting the SC on a truck with a hundred and fifty thousand miles on it.
