Default Weird problem with my 87 toyota 4x4 turbo

Hi everyone, hope you have an idea what this could be. I bought a 1987 Toyota 4x4 XC Turbo back in August. It has about 183,000 miles on it with the engine being rebuilt, not including the turbo, about a year ago. It had been running great until a week ago when I noticed that I didn't have the power driving on the interstate I used to all of a sudden. I figure it had to be something to do with the turbo because for one, I didn't feel or hear it kick in, and for two, after a 30 minute drive I could still touch my hand to the turbo and it wasn't hot. The green turbo light on my dashboard stayed on like it always has, but the turbo just didn't work for a couple of days. I was gonna take it in to get it checked out, but all of a sudden, it started working again. What could this be and what should I do?
