85 may have been the best year for drivetrain, but the first gen trucks are so much sexier. I love my 82.
The Landcruiser was sold in the US with a solid front axle up until model year
'97 on the FJ-80. (I sold my '96 about 4 years ago and, MAN do I miss that truck. )
