Default Converting a 2wd Toyota T100 to 4wd -possible?

Hi, I was hoping someone might have experience with this. I've got a 1997 Toyota T100 V6 Manual 2wd that I love dearly, which I picked up from the original owner to took immaculate care of it. Literally not a scratch on it, and fairly low miles (85K right now). Here in Southern California it is darn near impossible to find T100 4wd's because of our proximity to the border, so here's my question: How hard would it be to convert the truck to 4wd from 2wd, if I was going to do a solid axle swap? I'm in need of 4wd these days and wanted to convert a T100 to SAS, but if I could start with what I have, I'd be much happier. Any help with this would be awesome... thanks!

Default Re: Converting a 2wd Toyota T100 to 4wd -possible?

YOu could start with a k5 blazer 10 bolt front axle, using 4" lift springs and sas kit made for Ifs chevy pickups, add a man. trans/transfer to bolt up to the 3.4l.........

Mine started as a 4x4..I just made some improvements:
