How to crank a 89 4runner's t-bars? - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

I just got a 89' 4runner for 400$! i wanted to crank the torsion bars to get a little more lift out of the truck but was unsure of how to do it, anyone have any experience with this? Ok i know what your thinking, "thats not a 4runner"!?! at some point in this 4 runners life someone has made it into a tuck kind of thing using the back half of a truck. but besides that everything seems to work. The front diff needs bearings but thats about it.

This is for a 90, but it's the same thing
