Saw in the USA Today paper this morning that Toyota was recalling T-100 and 4-Runners due to the potential failure of the steering arm (the failure has been discussed before on this forum).
Has anyone actually seen a copy of the actual recall notice from Toyota?

The recall notices will be sent beginning in mid September, according to the article I read. Toyota is recalling 978,000 SUV's and trucks. The affected vehicles include 1990-1995 4Runner, 1989-1995 4WD truck, and 1993-1998 T-100
Think I will have a problem getting them to warranty it on my truck? Does it matter if things are modified? And which steering arm are they talking about??????

Just curious what has happened with this recall. I haven't heard anything since the original story broke in the headline news. Any updates on what models are covered (unless the previous post is still correct), the actual part being recalled, or other information would be greatly appreciated.
