Well
I always thought they were the same but according to Sway-a-way they have different part #'s
Make/Model Year Diameter Length Part No.
Toyota T-100 4WD Pre 1993 25mm 35.87" 1638
Toyota T-100 2WD All Years 25mm 34.75" 1639
Toyota T-100 4WD 1993-1997 25mm 41.874" 1646P
I do not see much of a difference besides the length. I would try putting them in. The cups that go on the back are hollow all the way thru so you could put the longer ones in but if you need the longer ones and have the shorter just make sure that there is enuff of the splines in each cup front and rear so that there are no problems. I do not see any problem because they are all based off a $wd frame and suspension. At least I thought they were????
