I'll be looking at a 1985 Toyota 4x4 pickup this weekend. Does anyone know the length of an '85 standard cab bumper-to-bumper with long bed (to be safe...I'm not sure if long or short bed)? I may need to trailer it if I pick it up. It's roadworthy, but will likely have no plates. Thanks.

I am not sure of the overall length BUT I towed an Extra Cab 4X4 on a 12 foot trailer. (Extracab and longbed use the same frames.) It hung over the front and rear but worked. My 1994 Standard cab short bed WITH offroad Bumpers is 15-16 feet bumper to bumper which would be around what your looking at. Hope that helps some

Thanks dsrtrcr01. The trailer is utility, not auto, but the deck is 12' by 77'' with a 14" rail height. At least I think so without measuring (it's 33° with light snow). It should work though. Hopefully it will work out and I can have an '85 standard cab 4wd by the end of the weekend.

I don't know the total length, but here's the wheel bases:
Longbeds and XTRA Cabs with shortbeds = 115 inches
Shortbeds with regular cabs = 103 inches
