Eaton bought Detroit up a few years back. Just like Holley bought up a dozen smaller perf companies like Earls, Russel and NOS etc.. I install TruTrac's exclusively in a broad spectrum of trucks up to 700+ hp 9 second drag racing trucks. I even installed one in my F250 4wd hauler and it makes over 450hp and 800 lb ft torque. Cumulatively there are hundreds of thousands of hard miles on these units drag racing on slicks, rock climbing off road and other severe duties. It has been a great unit for me and my customers. I hope your failure was an isolated incident.
