Default Thoughts on pricing '93 T100 ??

Anyone have any thoughts on how I can figure out a reasonable price for my '93 T100? I'm trading up to a Tundra in the Spring and will be advertising it in a few weeks. I checked on edmunds and the spread is anywhere from $3200 to $6000. (YEAH, sure, they're lining up to pay 6k for my CREAMPUFF T :-0). The KBB spread is pretty wide too.

Seriously ---there are so few for sale, it's hard to get a fix on it ---most that I've seen are really high miles ---mine (a 4x4 SR5) has just over 75,000.

I ABSOLUTELY refuse to take it to a dealer to use as a trade --they'll offer peanuts and then just send it off to auction.

I've also considered FLEABAY, but I'm not too happy with that place...and if I knew what was fair, I'd let it go at that, instead of trying to run the price up.

I feel for ya.

I have two babied dirt bikes I may have to sell to finance my pickup's repair, and know I'll get near nothing for them. I may just go ahead and put them on on Fleabay with a reserve I am comfortable with and no less, that way if they do not meet the reserve then that's the way it goes as I don't want to give them away.

You may want to search autotrader.com or other sites to gauge what they are selling for and what it's worth to you.

yeah, I looked at autotrader ---even the high mileage (over 140k) listings are going for almost 5k ---- only the ratiest 2wd, high mileage listings are in the same range as what edmunds valued it. Guess I'll post it here first and see if there's any interest at the mid-upper 4k's.

I sold my 1993 T-100 last year and bought a 2005 Tundra Access Cab. I bouught the T-100 new. It was 2WD and had Century bedcap with a spray in liner (Arma Coatings). I used the NADA price guide. It had 114,000 miles on it but was in very good condition. I had all the maintenance records and even the originial brochure and sticker. It was garaged. I checked the online sales websites and could only find one other 93 T-100 for sale, and it happened to be in my city. The Toyota dealer had one for sale with maybe 85,000 miles on it for $6,900.00. I priced mine at $5200.00. After a week someone called me who had just wrecked his 93 T-100 and wanted another. He offered me $5000.00 which i accepted immediately. I would have sold it for less but he wanted it pretty badly. Not bad, since i paid $15000.00 for it in 1993 and drove it 12 years. It was a real nice truck, but I'm glad to have the Lexus V8 and 4wd. I was lucky to find a buyer in my area who was sold on the truck. Most dealers would resale your truck since it has under 100,000 miles on it. I'd ask $6000.00 for it. You can always reduce the price.
