HI!!! New Guy here with a '93SR5 Tundra...

Hey Everyone!.. I knew there was a great forum lurking for us Toyota pickup owners... (I'm a member on another for my 2005 Dodge Magnum).

First of all I had a '86 SR5 Shortbed 4x4 pickup that I just sold (the rust was getting overpowering) and I picked up a '93 SR5 4x4 Shortbed pickup with 65k on it (mint shape). It had the 3.0 liter headgasket recall and the steering link recall already done.

These forums are a great way to get the latest info so that's why I'm here.

I also have a '86 Turbo 4runner (57k miles) in storage for my son when he's old enough.

My main focus is on the '93... so I'll be ask'n

OOH! Your son is very lucky. We upgraded the Turbo to a T3 turbo on a 1986 4 runner and also swapped frames over to a 1985 so it had the solid front axle. That thing would smoke a supercharged 3.4 liter 4X4 Tacoma. What a lucky boy.
