TRD S/C on T100

Hi, does anyone know if the TRD S/C will bolt on to the 1998 2wd ex-cab T100 5vzfe motor properly and still clear the hood? Debating on buying one and the hood clearence is a big issue for me, I don't fancy custom hoods or hoodscoops. Thank you...

Well, I have a rebuilt s/c in a 1st-gen housing I bought off ebay from underdog racing on my 95 T100, and it fits fine. - Underdog Racing Development is their website. They have experience on these. I have not installed the bigger injectors or remapped the fuel yet, and it runs fine, even though Toyota says not to put them trucks older than 98. Good power increase, and with a Magnaflow muffler and open intake, the truck really sounds cool. Still not a V8, but I like it.

According to TRD's website, they should work on the 97-98 models with the 3.4 engine. The cat-back is also listed for the 97-98 T100 as well.

I also saw a picture on ebay of a T100 with the TRD SC setup.




There was another one but I just can't seem to find the picture now. It was a lot cleaner of a setup than the one above.
