Default Hello all Toyota users

I am new to this site and am wondering if I might gather some information about a problem that I am having with fuel leaks on my 1989 Toyota truck 3vze V-6,1-ton,long-bed.The fuel lines appear to have dry-rotted,etc.I replaced the rear section and the sending-unit bracket, then when I re- pressurized the line by replacing the gas cap and starting the engine, another bad leak formed up around the front section and/or near the engine, etc.I am wondering if anyone knows of any kind of recall(s),etc. that might have been issued pertaining to this problem. This could potentially become a disaster with pure gasoline leaking out from under the vehicle.

There isn't an issue with the fuel lines. All I know is when Toyota dealership mechanics replace the fuel filter, they often times replace some of the fuel lines from my understanding. Something to do with the connections to the filter.

Yow,the fuel lines have a reputation for going bad after a period of time, from what I have gathered.I do most of the maintenance, myself.I just hope that I can track down and fix exactly what and where this leak is coming from.
