Question 94 heater blower motor

First of all, hi to everyone. My name is Jeff.
I have a 1994 4x4 sb. It's my everyday driver and mostly stock. Not much of a mechanic, but I can usually handle the simple stuff.

For the past few weeks the blower motor for the heater has not always worked. Turn the car on and if it's working, it continues. Turn the car on and if it's not working, usually it would kick on down the road. It never cut out once it was on. The past day or so it hasn't turned on and I think it's dead.

Does the whole motor need to be replaced? Is this a job a rookie could handle? Where should I look for a replacement?

Appreciate your thoughts or suggestions.

Jeff

I think that your blower motor has reached the end of the road and needs to be replaced. Only you know your limits when it comes down to replacing it. Not really a hard job but an aggravating one. All it takes is patiences!! If you don't want to go OEM them you can pick one up at most auto parts stores. They may have to pick it up but usually no more than a one day wait!
