Red face Newbie T100 largest wheel/tire combo

Hello, I am new to this forum, and I hope y'all can help me out. I would like to upgrade my 15" stock '95 T100 rims to some newer 16 or 17" Toyota rims (from tundra, tacoma, sequoia, ect) I know the bolt patterns are all the same, but I would like to know the largest wheel/tire combo that will fit w/out having to do mods like lifting. I have been told that 17" wheel with 265/65/17 is cutting it close (tacoma TRD sport rims/tires). What about a 16" wheel with 265/70/16 or 265/75/16? Anyone else in this situation? Thanx sooooooooo much!!

i have 31x10.5x15 (stock size) bridgestone dueler atr revos on my 4x4 t-100 and it rubs when i make a sharp turn, they were a little taller than the goodyears...i think they are comparable to 265/70/15 im not sure tho..they don't seem to give you much room for bigger tires Ive noticed

Hey, I have a 98' T100 4WD. Iresently put 16" Mikey Thomson wheels wraped with 265/75/16 with no rubbing. I had 285/75/16 wiich is considered a 33" tire and there was only a little rub, not really noticable. The truck is stock with no cranks on the torsion bars. So to answer your question you can fit up to a 285/75/16 stock.

I have 17" Niche Stings with Goodyear Eagle GT II 265/60/17's. They aren't truck tires but they have been the best so far as far as ride quality goes. It rubs a little when I gun it turning into the parking lot at work but that's just the laws of physics IMO. Other than that no problems as far as ride comfort goes.

I've tried Dunlops, Pirellis, Yokohamas, Falken, and Goodyears. I rate them as follows for my own experience with each:

1. Goodyear (ride is superb and wear has been great so far, makes the truck ride like it's brand new again)
2. Yokohama AVS/ST (aggressive pattern/sidewall, handled like a sports car, rode well until the wear was extremely choppy near the end but I got 60,000+ miles out of each set so I can't complain)
3. Falken (not bad for the money and they have jumped in the ratings as of late)
4. Pirelli (disappointing to say the least...maybe better for cars than trucks)
5. Dunlop (nothing good to say)

What is a upper ball joint spacer? Does it lift it?
