150k on my 97 4x4 lifted, 33'' tires stock gears, not a daily driver but runs perfect, was a starter issue but went away for the time being. NEEDS MORE POWER !!
I had a 96 T100. I had to sell it with 115K on the odometer. Dang, I hated to sell it, but the family was just to big for that little back seat. I hate to say what I got, but it ended up being a Silverado. Time will tell if I like it as much as the T100.
Finally sold my Camry this past weekend and got back into the Toyota pickups with a 1996 T100 Xtra Cab. Bare bones, no cruise, no power windows locks or anything, Auto trans and AC is about the extent of the options. Plus mismatches wheels and tires! Currently 171,500 on the odometer and runs extremely well. The body is a bit rough, but I'm going to work on that a bit. I'll post pictures when available, hopefully before and after pictures since I'm going to be doing somethings to it!

I'm the original owner of my '97 T-100 that has just over 212,000. I absolutely love this truck. No major problems...replaced the oxygen sensors, exhaust, timing belt, water pump, etc. Clutch pedal mount as well. My bumper fell off a couple of months ago, so I'm looking for a new one. We welded it back on as best we could but the rot is on the bumper itself, so I'm looking for a new one. Our winters up here in NH/VT are pretty tough, and my truck has seen a lot of salt over the years as a result. I have some pretty serious rust on the right rear panel that will need to be addressed before inspection. Other than that, this truck has been through a lot and not asked for a lot! Original clutch (not bad for a female driver)! I was so excited to see this thread and find others that are as proud of their T-100s as I am.

I love my T100 also - been used not abused, well cared for with only 135,000 miles. Problem I have is the body is perfect, but the rear axle rusted out - in 3 places!!! Middle, where the tab for the brake lines was welded on, and beneath both spring mounts. Anyone else have this issue?

My axle rusted out near the right rear spring also . I thought it was a seal until I cleaned it all up and found it was leaking where they have those gussets welded on. I simply welded those gussets closed and leak fixed! The gussets will eventually fill up and the leak will stop.

Have not had this problem yet, but it looks like it could be a possibility in the near future. Last year I was smelling gas and discovered it was sloshing out at the top due to the rusting of the area around the fuel sending unit (is that what it's called?? No expert here!).
1st post here, seems like a great site for Toyota owners. Have 187K on my 97 4wd 5spd.T100, still runs great; bought it used in 97, had 15k on it. Only complaints are the noise (popping, squawking) when the wheel is turned to the stops (right or left), and the brakes. Front brakes have always felt a bit on the weak side, and have a shimmy as though the rotors are slightly warped. One other issue of note: Leaking valve covers. Have noticed the bolts seemed to have backed out, allowing oil to leak onto the manifold and starter (caused some problems with the starter, but was able to clean/fix it). Carries a few minor dings and scars, I call it character Don't know what most people get, but have found I can get 20 mpg if I drive careful, and have managed 21. Have always thought this was pretty decent for a mid-sized, 4wd truck.
'97 x cab 4x4. Aside from PMs and oil changes every 3K and one alternator, this truck has been perfect. Still has factory brakes @ 210k. Sold it to my girlfriend and she is giving it to her kid as her fist vehicle. It's still in the family and hopefully I'll get it back one day.
Couldn't pass up the free money from Toyota (no interest and 2K cash) so I got a new Tundra. Only hope it proves to be as relaible as the T has been. No reason to suspect it won't be.
I will never have anything from Detroit. These Asian vehicles have made a believer out of me. My first experience was an '82 Accord. Didn't look too impressive, but the thing had 310k when I took ownership. Put onother 50K on it with no isssues.
