Default 85 pickup 5sp manual 2wd trans question
Hi every one. i had a 5 speed manual out of a 2wd 1985 pickup and i was wondering if it will fit in an 89 pickup. did they change trans at all during this time?

I am sort of going through the same thing.

How to ID W55 transmission - YotaTech Forums

If I can believe Wikipedia then the first and second gear ratios ratios changed in 1989.

If you have a W55 for my application and do not use it then let me know....
