Default 1997 Toyota T-100 won't start - just clicks

Hey all I recently bought a 1997 T-100 SR5 and have loved everything about it. From time to time, when I turn the key it just clicks, won't turn over. Normally after 3 or 4 clicks it will start. This morning it won't start at all so I figure I have to adress the problem now. From what I've read it sounds like the starter. I need to buy repair manual, like a chilton and pick up a starter from Napa or something. Anyone have any suggestions or helpful comments? Thanks.

Usually, it is just the starter solenoid contacts. I have seen them on E-Bay for about $20. They come with instructions.

Bruski - Did you ever get this fixed? I'm now having a similar issue on my '95 T100. I've installed a new battery and cleaned all the electrical connections/terminals on both the battery and the starter itself . Starter solenoid clicks every time the key is turned, but the starter motor does not run every time... after about half a dozen or so turns of the key, it usually will start cranking. It hasn't left me stranded yet, but is getting to the point where its making me nervous.

Does the starter need to be removed to replace the contacts, or can they be reached as-is?
