RudyDep, that thing should have a rockin sound with the 40's. The 40's are their loudest exterior mufflers I believe. People will definitely know your coming and know when you've left.
Yep....I have them on my Tahoe and love them. I cant wait for them on the Tundra. Ill let you know. Thanks.

I saw on the diagram that they used an H-pipe up front, so I went ahead and added one to my system this morning (I have a dual in dual out super 40 with turndowns). At idle, you can't even hear the exhaust on the inside anymore and it got rid of the slight drone I had on the highway. She seems a little deeper sounding now when I get on it...it has more of that 'hollow' mustang sound now.
My Buddy checkin the welds

Sorry dude, but I'm about to bite your exact setup, lol. I also have a slate DC 5.7 with sport appearance package. I've been trying to decide between the 40 series and the 50, and duals or single outlet exiting before the wheels or after the wheels. Screw it I may do dumps too. I think it gives a clean look and it sounds bada$$

actually i had the 10 series race muffler on my z71. it was a single in single out, and it rocked. they are louder than the 40 series, but it was loud inside the cab but it definetely sounded bad a$$ on the outside. if you dont mind the racket inside the 10 series is for you. i have the super 40 dual in dual out on my tundra and it is much quieter than the 10 series.
i just ordered the gibson dual sport exhaust system. dual 2.5 in and dual 2.5 out with 2 4" tips for 515 shipped from performanceproducts.com they got 20% off anything over 250 bucks. its full stainless too! i'll post pics when i get the sytem on.
Just wanted to say that this is an awesome setup. Installation was easy and took just over an hour with perfect clearances and fit. Sounds great with a mellow deep sound at idle and distinct flowmaster notes when accelerating. There is a slight drone between 1500 and 1800 rpm but goes away at around 2000 rpm. I don't mind that small amount of drone as in my area traffic flow is 70+ mph on the main road between my house and work.
I've read a few things about the kit that are incorrect so to dispel any further misinformation. The piping is all 2.50" aluminized steel, the muffler is custom made for the new Tundra utilizing the 50 series big block muffler with dual 2.50"in 2.50"out connections. There is an "H" pipe just before the muffler to equalize pressure between the cylinder banks retaining our beloved low-end torque. The kit is using a newer style clamping system for the connections instead of the common u-bolt creating a leak-free seal even though Flowmaster recommends welding all connections. Flowmaster is claiming 5-7% hp/torque increase.
Hope this helps.
Thanks. Sorry about the quality, I truly expected better from my camera. Apparently sound was not a major concern of Sony's when they made my camera. The video really does not do the system proper justice.
I got some quick, but crappy footage on my way home today from work with my windows down and some mild acceleration. I'll post a link as soon as it's done processing with youtube.
I actually think that this threads orginal poster (eddiekidd) no longer has this system installed. Must of been unhappy with something about it. It's good to see that they changed to the other style of clamps, it should give it a cleaner look.
