I think I see the H pipe near the front of the pipes. Am I seeing that correctly? I think this may be a winner, I've been holding off to see what everyone gets and to hear their feedback. I have to say, I trust your feedback more than most, due to the fact you have had more than one exhaust on your truck and can compare back-to-back. I am also very concerned about drone. I really want it to sound close to stock at even throttle. The Volant already added a bunch of rumble at heavy throttle, I don't want to add too much more.
Thanks for all the information, I may be ordering this week or next!
Eddie,
Does it come with the Series 50 SUV or the Series 50 Big Block muffler???
I looked on flowmaster-mufflers.com , but it didn't specify what Series muffler was used.
Thanks, William.

To prevent from taking it in the rear from Gulf States Toyota's Distributor fees!!Not getting my $2300!
The H pipe or exhaust crossover was part of the system. It is located right before the inlets. It would be much further away but since I have a regular cab, 37.75inches had to be cut off.
Don't let me steer you wrong, there is some drone but not as bad as the JBA and probably not as bad as the TRD--IMO. The sound is much deeper and maintains that sound all through the rpm range as the truck upshifts. Flowmaster does have a new product called a hushpower resonator that according to them will take out all the cabin noise. You could check with them on cost and compatibility with this system.
The muffler flowmaster started with was the 50 series big block and from there designed it specifically for the Tundra. How much they changed it, I have no idea? I am very pleased with it and will do my best to get some sound clips tomorrow or this weekend so you can hear it for yourself.
Well, got the flowmaster cat back system in from 21st century exhaust and took it yesterday to get the JBA off and this one put on. The flowmaster went on much more smoothly than did the JBA. All we had to do was cut 37.75 off the H pipes because I have a regular cab and everything else lined up perfectly.
If you remember, the JBA sounded ok at idle and ok on throttle but the cab drone while cruising between 1500-2000rpms was unbearable. Even my wife complained about it and she typically doesn't care about things like that.
When I started the truck after putting on the flowmaster, I could tell the tone was deeper. Even the muffler guy commented on the deep sound. When pulling out and going through the gears, the truck maintains that deep aggressive sound--unlike the JBA that gave up at certain rpm's. While cruising between 65-75 where the rpm's run between 1500-2000, the truck is much much quieter now. Hardly no drone to speak of. I couldn't be happier. Oh yea, my low end is back. The truck has immediate throttle response again and has no trouble squeeling the tires.
I'm going to do my best to get clips and post them before the weekend so you can hear it first hand.
Eddiekidd,
Do you know what size the piping is that is used on that system? Front intermediate pipes and tailpipes.
