Performance Exhaust SystemsDetailed discussions regarding performance headers, single, dual, street and off-hard racing exhaust systems for your vehicle.
This is a discussion thread titled "CORSA Exhaust on 2007 Tundra", within the Performance Exhaust Systems forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I had a question. I ran into a guy at the gas station yesterday who works for CORSA Performance Exhaust and he said he wants to put a CORSA exhaust system on my truck as a demo. I was thinking of changing the stock out this summer, but I know little about CORSA products. He said he'd do it for free ($1300 value) so long as I let his team do it on the truck and make it a demo. Are CORSA products legit and is this worth it?
He did hand me his business card and I cross-referenced it on their website and it checks out. I emailed him today and so we'll see what he says when he gets back to me.
Anyone else have/know about CORSA exhausts and how loud they are? I'm not looking to put a super loud and obnoxious system on my truck as I do most of my driving in the city. Also, what's the word on drone with their product? Sport vs Touring? thoughts...

VERY reputable exhaust manufacturers. I've heard them on zillions of vettes and they sound awesome! Just like Borla and several other high quality exhausts I don't think these will drone much at all. I would be jumping all over that offer.

haha I know, I'll keep you guys posted on what goes down.
So the guy I ran into is their Technical Sales and Service rep and he wants to use my 07 Tundra RCSB as a model for their exhaust. I went back through some older threads and I guess they hadn't come out with a model for RCSB yet until now. So for those of you looking to put a CORSA exhaust on a RCSB you may be in luck.
Corsa makes a "touring" and a "sport" system. From what I've learned the touring system will perform very similar to the stock exhaust until you get on it....then it comes to life. At cruising speed it should be just like the factory. The sport will be more aggressive.
If you are looking for something "not too loud" then the touring would be great. Also available as split dual exhaust or with a split side exhaust.

The performance of Touring and Sport just the same, except for loudness.
Sport will be a bit louder then Touring when cruising and when you press on it. But they both perform without any drone, that is the main selling point for that system.
So Touring will not perform as stock. When cruising it is a ted louder then stock, but when you press on it it will deliver the sound you want. Sport will be more aggressive.
When installed I experienced some loss on performance side and the sound was not that obvious, but after some 500 miles the system woke up and the truck is ready to jump as soon as you press the pedal.
I would do Touring all over again if a had to choose. It is more than enough sound for my taste and my family. I still want to listen to my radio
Single and duals are different by 2Hp (that is what the company claims).
So you have 4 choices
Single -Touring
Single - Sport
Duals - Touring
Duals - Sport
The quality of the product is top notch.
I just love the look of dual tip of single exhaust.
hope that helps some how.

Very nice sound, louder than I thought it would be for a single, how was the power gain aspect? I do want something that gives better MPG's but I was thinking a Volant intake over the TRD one tho, but I quess they all do the same
