The V-Force acts as an equalizer because both sides of the exhaust are able to transfer within the muffler its self. Unless you had a system that could acomodate a rather large H pipe (like 24" or so) I don't think an H pipe would help with drone.

Sounds very good for glasspacks,mine is very simular.
I have some more things to try before Im done.
Sec Cat delete,then adding an H pipe,may just add the H while installing the 18" mufflers in place of the Sec Cat's ...... ?

My sound thread is running around here somewhere ???

Good info. The closer to the headers the crossover is the more effective it is. The style of the X, from what I've seen on Mustang's, along with muffler choice, is what determines whether or not the exhaust is raspy. H-pipes always seem to have a good deep tone to them but don't scavenge as well as X's do although the difference will most likely be unfelt.
