Default Cost to install headers?

How much labor to have a shop install headers on a 2001 4.7 Limited Access Cab?
I am thinking of the SS Autochrome headers.
Is it better to get a muffler shop to do the install?

Thanks,
grant

headers depending on the size they are, and how long it take's.
i believe the ss autochrome are 1 of the smallest compared to JBA and doug thorley.
so it's is alot esyer to install them, you have more room to work.
i paid 600 to install my JBA's.
i have read here ,prices range from 400 to 1200.
many members installed them themselves. thats the cheapest.
buy oem manifold gaskets there about 100.
hope it help's,
gorilla

Last week I paid $341.00 to install a set of Doug Thorley which are a little more in-depth then the JBA's about an hour or so extra. I paid $288.00 for my JBA's. If your in Colorado let me know I get send you to a fantastic shop. Thanks, Bryce

I had my SS Autochrome headers installed for $204.00 at the local muffler shop. When I called around I got prices ranging from $200 to $800.

Anyone have a hook up in Texas? I've been quoted $1,100 as the cheapest cost for labor to install DT's on the 5.7 4x2. That must be a seriously labor intensive job.

$200-300 would be a fair price. It shouldn't too hard to do yourself though.
