Performance Exhaust SystemsDetailed discussions regarding performance headers, single, dual, street and off-hard racing exhaust systems for your vehicle.
This is a discussion thread titled "Another Corsa Questions", within the Performance Exhaust Systems forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
All, as I am getting ready to make my order on the group buy, I am stuck between the sport and touring series. I have 2 young kids and we drive the truck alot, especially with the windows down, and I don't want this new system to be too loud. I had a Magnaflow on my old Z71 and it was good, had a drone though. For those that are running the sport, it is too loud and for those running the touring, is it loud enough. I have been reading tons of threads, but I had to ask. I know that when you accelerate, you will hear it, and at start up, I just don't want it to be overbearing.
Any comments are appreciated.

If you are worried about it, than just buy the Touring. Everytime I have heard the Corsa Sport on any type of vehicle, it has been too loud for my liking.

How loud would you say the touring is, compared to stock?

I have the Corsa sport dual and I do not have a drone at interstate speeds. My other truck is a tacoma 3.4 v6 with the magnaflow and the tundra is much quieter at highway speeds. In traffic, the sound is not obstrusive as long as the throttle is light. When you romp on it, it demands attention.
i have the same qestion, dunno if to buy the dual side sport or touring. did you get any of those? if yes which one and how loud was it. thanks

I have Corsa Touring. Same concern two little kids. Went for touring. after 5k the it got a bit louder, but still very nice when cruising. Basically you can hear it only when you press the gas pedal. Here are some clips and photos with TRD CAI Corsa Touring + TRD CAI clips
By the way, my kids really enjoy the Corsa sound
