This is a discussion thread titled "Where are all the Corsa sound clips?", within the Performance Exhaust Systems forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Im still on the fence about ordering Corsa side exit sport exhaust and thought some of you guys would have sounds clips up by now, but havent seen anything yet, where are they at? The only clip I can find is on Youtube and that video has music so its hard to hear the exhaust. Any guys with teh Sport series could you please get those clips up by Tuesday so i know rather to order or not, thanks alot
I installed my Corsa sport the other day. I'll make some sound clips and get them up either later tonight or tomorrow. So far - I LOVE IT. Installation was easy, the quality is second to none, and the look and sound of the system are everything that I expected.

I installed mine yesterday with the aFe intake. I have not took it out of the garage yet. Just started it up and it sounds great. Will try to get some sound clips today and post if I can figure out how to.

I would really appreciate it guys, especially since you guys have the single side split duals that im looking to get in the Sport series, I think the touring will be to quiet for me and the extra cost isnt worth it to me, but im probaly gonno order the AFE intake myself after all the research ive done online comparing it to teh Volant, I think the AFE is mt choice
since I have the touring, here's my pitch; it's louder than stock everywhere, but with with a more refined tone. to cut to the chase, if you are over 40yrs old, touring is spot on. IMHO

I really want to mention that the sound clips don't do it justice. The sound in person is a bit deeper and richer. I'm eager to hear how the sound evolves when I get some miles on the new system. I hear it gets better with time. The install was really easy... the hardest part was loosing the four stock bolts behind the cats. At little WD-40 did the trick.
I got a chance to do a little highway driving today, and verified the Corsa claim of no drone at cruising speed. My TRD cold air intake is louder at cruising speed than the Corsa is (that danged whistle at about 1800-2000 rpm).
During the install, I also took a video of the sound with no exhaust (direct dump after the cats)... but the papers that I had covering my license plate blew over and I'm not going to post my tags on the internet. Oh well. It sounded like a stock car. I took a few laps around the neighborhood and probably made a few enemies.

The raspiness of it would take some time to get used to IMO. Sounds good though!
How loud is it compared to your stereo? What what volume on your stereo can you not hear your exhaust at 2K rpm?

I'll have to get back to you on the stereo volume... although I'm sure it won't be much. I have a feeling that when I install my dynamat in the floor and doors, I will hear 100% engine and 0% exhaust at cruise.
I think that the raspiness calms down a little bit with time. I just need to get some carbon on all that new stainless steel.

Alright... I'm more curious about 2K shift point during acceleration.
Are you dynomatting for a stereo or just for quietness sake?
Also, what do you mean putting carbon on the stainless?

I'll listen for the shift point sound levels. I'll be dynamatting when I do my audio system. What I meant by "carbon on the stainless" is just breaking in the exhaust system. They'll tend to change a little bit over the course of the first 1000 miles, or so I've been told.

Oh I gotcha. Yeah, mine got a bit louder and more aggressive since my last sound clips. I love it

go look online for any type of sound editing software and you can take the sound directly from the video and change it to an actual sound clip, not a video, and nobody can see your plates. i really wanna hear what these beasts sound like without a muffler/cats lol
