Default 2007 4.7 Exhaust Muffler upgrade question

Im tossing around the idea of having my muffler changed out on the truck to give better sound. I dont want it too loud. Id like a low rumble when i give it some gas but i dont want any "drone" on the free way. Im planning on getting a Magnaflow or a flowmaster.
Im confused on what size/type i should get.

I did a search on the site and found some posts for the older generation models and most of the stuff i found for the 2nd generations was for cat back systems.

Any advice? ive never changed or had a muffler changed out. A friend told me a muffler would run me 70-80bucks. He said he knows a guy that will install it at his place for 50 bucks and he does a good job. (he did his FJ with him) How much do muffler shops charge?

I DONT want to end up with a ghetto sound that sounds like a hot rod or a rice burner.

I'm interested in this as well. Most of the aftermarket setups are for the 5.7, so I've been toying with the idea of having a shop fab up a single in/dual out or dual in/dual out setup (maybe Flowmaster). I wonder how much changing out the muffler would help, any ideas anyone?

Did you get any response from anyone here? I do have the same concept in my mind avoiding to pay so much for the catback exhaust package.
