Default Aero muffler with stainless steel pipes

After installing a Gibson 2 1/2" exhaust system, Spintech, Magnaflow, and Stainless Works mufflers, I finally found what I was looking for. I now have a system with a killer sound, no drone, no loss of low end power, and great looks. I went with a 2525 Aero muffler which is 2 1/2" in/out and 2 1/4" stainless steel pipes. I removed the factory resonator on my last exhaust for more sound but it didn't make much difference with the muffler I had. Like my previous exhaust, I chose to dump the tailpipe right near the spare tire for that stealth look (I hate the look of the factory tailpipe and dual exhaust tips). I highly recommend this combination.

Great choice! I've been running the AeroTurbine 2525 for several years now and still have people walk across the parkinig lot to ask "what system I'm running"......Sound clips were a bit of a novelty back when it was installed and it (the sound clip) caused quite a stir on this board...Everybody was sold on the sound alone! I'm still happy with the sound and performance. Enjoy.

glad you like your setup!
I've got 2.25" dual piping side exit on mines with two 2525's. Now that thing has quite a grunt to it.

The install looks nice and clean, the only thing that kills me is the first picture where the shop welded right onto the muffler. I'd go nuts if the guy did that to mines, but that's just me!

Glad to see another satisfied AT user on here
