Of course it is worth the money. Power does cost money so to each his own. What is your ideal goal? Power, mileage, towing? If your goal is either of the three than headers are a must do item.

Shorties IMO arent worth the small overall net gains.
Spending the extra $$ on a set of LT's with some good mufflers will no doubt
win out in the long run.

Go big or stay home,SIZE does Matter

Actually shorties are worth the money if bolt on smog legal performance is what you are after. I don't think 28 hp and 46 bs of torque is considered a small gain. While the long tubes do provide a bit more power it is a whole different type of person that installs those.

You should also mention that those gains are at the rear wheels which is pretty damn impressive especially for a shortie...

Anyone have an independant dyno sheet to support this ?
Exceeding Longtube averages is a pretty bold claim.

The long tube produced more power than the shorty. The Tundra was just one of the few vehicles that produced a ton of power, it was just choked up.

How much are the longtubes? I have your shorties already. Do the longtubes delete the primary cats?

Not a big fan of Tri-Ys myself.

I would like to see some independent testing to back up these numbers myself.

The long tubes do delete the primary front cats. The LT's are a TRI-Y design which is PROVEN to substantially increase bottom to midrange HP and TQ.

Thanks
