Default stock piping diameter

looking to swap out the stock muffler, but i cant find a post that has a "definite" diameter of the stock piping (at the muffler) on a new body 4.0??

I read somewhere that it is ~ 2 3/8 and I had the experience of, would not fit in 2.5" ID pipe and would not fit over 2.25"ID pipe. Really frustrating unless you have a pipe expander.
