Default gibson dual exhaust

Anyone on here have the gibson extreme dual exhaust installed on their tundra. There is a sale on one that ends tonight and I'm just wondering if it will be a good choice. I dont want it so loud that i cant talk in the truck at highway speeds. I want it to sound real good, and not too loud. I had the gibson swept side installed on my last truck and it was almost loud enough. Will be installing on a 2008 dcsb with 5.7. thanks in advance

I have the Gibson Extreme dual exhaust (part #67501) on my 08 dcsb. I think the sound is close to perfect. It's a pretty easy install except the left side tailpipe hanger (part #4265) was missing from mine. I called Gibson and after getting a little bit of a run-around they sent me the part. They insisted I send them proof of purchase. Then, the guy I sent it to took a couple days off. So after pleading with them about it being such a small but crucial part they finally sent it to me. Gibson specializes in exhaust systems for trucks, although they carry them for some cars too. I like the 3 1/2" slash tips coming out the sides. Very aggressive with business like looks. I got the stainless steel. At idle or low rpm I would describe the sound as low, with a mild volume snore, just noticeable. But When you floor it the pitch goes up with a kind of nascar-ish tone. I am finding it has a calming effect on drivers around me. It will also bring a distracted drivers' attention right back to the road where it belongs. From what I'm told it takes a little while for the trucks computer to "learn" the exhaust to adjust the air intake. And the more I drive it the more I believe this to be true. It's starting to shift gears at just the right pitch for my driving habits. I don't drive it very much though. Four months old and only 1000 miles. I don't know why but you don't hear much about them on this forum. If you haven't already I would buy them while their on sale. How much was the sale price and which website?

Ok, so who has the best deal? Internet company or local type company?
