A fellow member is selling a BORLA system for what seems a good price. Questions are these ; would the warranty transfer,problems with the clamping, everyone like their sound after a few months of having them or just go with other options from an exhaust pro(magnaflow is what I had had in the past) .thanks

Not sure about the warranty, but I put a second-hand Borla system on mine two years ago and have not had any problems with. Installation was easy; no clamp problems.

I put a Borla on a couple of weeks back. Easy install and the sound is about right for me. Not too loud at idle, but you sure will notice when you step into it.

Warranty concerns shouldn't be an issue as this is at the very end of your exhaust system. Carries the same warranty exceptions as any other aftermarket part. (see Magnusson-Moss Act)

The clamps and gaskets are all one-time use items as per the factory service manual. Get part#'s from toyodiy.com and then order new ones from TRDsparks.com.

I think he is talking about the warranty on the Borla system since he is buying it second-hand; not the warranty on his Tundra.

Ohhhh, ok. Well, that most likely will not carry over. UNLESS the original owner never filled out the warranty card and has a sales receipt to pass on to you. In that case, YOU can register it as the original owner

My Magnaflow warranty card said something along those lines. But the TS member I bought it from had never claimed the original warranty, so I've got the card waiting to be filled out.... I'm just missing that sales receipt

I used the clamps from the Borla kit I bought from a fellow member on here and have had the system on my truck for over a year and no issues. I say go for it!
