Default Another exhaust help thread...

I've been fighting with myself for weeks on what exhaust setup to get, so I thought I'd ask for help.

I want a noticeable change in exhaust all the time, but I don't want it to drone so bad at idle it sounds like a diesel rumbling.

I'd like to get some kind of performance gain, so I'm probably looking at a cat-back instead of powersticks, right?

It has to be dual, and I have a personal hatred of Borla.

any ideas?

My personal recommendation would be flowmaster. But based on your criteria, it sounds like you'd like Magnaflow better.

when exhaust companies say you get better performance, the gain is very minimal at best and isn't a gain across the power band. its normally a few extra horses at the high rev portion. for this GAIN you often trade lower end power which is what you need unless you are in nascar. there are many fans of flowmaster here, the flowmaster I had was built with these chambers of dead space. this is the reason they get harmonic problems we call drone. magnaflow seems to have less drone with a nice sound. I love my spintech but its ALL PERSONAL CHOICE! everybody has their own idea whats good and the sound of any system can only be judged in real life. sound clips just don't give you the real effect.
