Well I Dont Know What Drone Means, But I Love The Sound Of My Magnaflow. I Hate Flowmasters On Tundras, Theres A Few In My City That Have Tundra With Flowmasters And They Sound So Stupid.

Magnaflow .. People Dont Notice It At Cruising Speed, Which I Like Because My Neighbors Are Bitches And Complain About Everything, But On Busy Streets, Like Ones That The Speed Limit Is 45 Or So, You Hear Your Muffler Hella Good. Reving The Engine Is A Little Louder, But Not That Much, The Best Way To Get Your Friends Attention Is Keeping It In Drive, Have Your Left Foot Pressing Hella Hard On The Brake, Have The E-Brake On, And Using Your Right To Press The Gas Pedal So The Muffler Actually Makes The Sound, Not The Engine.

Flooring It Isnt That Loud Either, Because The Engine Is Working More, And You Dont Hear Exhaust As Much Unless You Ease It Up A Bit.

I Have The 14 Inch Magnaflow, Part Number 11236

Overall, I Noticed It Takes A While To Break In. It Wasnt As Loud At First, But After A Month Or So, Its Been Louder Than It Used To Be. I Still Have Stock Piping Because, Well I Didnt Want To Spend Insane Money For Exaust. I Purchased The Muffler At Kragen Autoparts, I Think They're Also Called Checker Auto Parts, And It Was Way Cheaper Than The Magnaflow Retail Sellers. I Had A Local Shop, Midas (Too Be Exact) Install It For $150 Out The Door.

19+ MPG on the Highway at 75 MPH in a DC with a four speed automatic and a bad O2 sensor - not too shabby!

Drone is sound that echos through the cabin of the vehicle. It can be painful.

Drone is sound but in a completely different realm. It can become physically painful. I love a loud exhaust as much as the next guy but drone is something beyond volume.

The stock 5.7 has a little comfortable drone at certain r.p.m.

Do you homework otherwise you will try a few and then go back to stock.

I am not worried about it, but some trucks have a beautiful sound and some sound downright sick in a bad way!

Some Stock Chevies have a nice sound, if you know what I mean, sound bites on the internet wont help you decide either only live.

There is no such thing as "Break-In" for mufflers,
They either blow-in or blow-out,in your case its called blow-in,which means that cheap packing is already failing.
