Default the poll for previous domestic owners

For the ones driving the tundra today, would you buy another one in the late future.

That will be in about 5-7 years and at that time I would see what was on the market. My choice might be related to the price of gas if it gets to out of control but I would want another truck.
My experience with my current Tundra will inform me as well.

It all depends on whats available at the time. I would have bought a dodge if toyota didn't bring this new tundra out, since they have treated me well in the past. I buy whatever I feel is the best at the time.

Hard for me to think about a possible 2nd Tundra when I'm STILL waiting for the first one to arrive! I buy based on my needs at that time and what I feel is the best long term value -regardless of brand. Just sold an '01 F-150 Supercrew that has been a great truck but felt that Ford hasn't done anything drivetrain wise to improve the truck and gas mileage. The high tech 5.7 engine and 6 sp. tranny (much better gas mileage) is what sold me on the Toyota. Silvarado was avery close second choice.

It's still pretty early to comit for certain as I've only had my Tundra for just over a week. I plan to keep it for ten year at least, probably more. Assuming it serves me well in that time, I will certainly look to buy another as a replacement. I didn't buy another Ford to replace my old F150 because I am not happy with the genaral quality and longevity of the domestic truck; specifically the bodies. Mine rusted out despite good care and I've seen many newer trucks showing signs of rust in the same locations that the domestic trucks have rotted out for the past 40 years. I looked at the new trucks, and they are built with the same moisture traps that leads to the eventual rusting. The Tundra appears to be better built to prevent rust from starting in the seams as far as I can see.

who knows... let's see how it holds up. Everyone is usually happy with a truck that is only months old.
