Default Bed bouncing bed length poll

If you have that bed bounce issue, what length is your bed?

So you do or don't have the "bed bounce"?

I do, but only when I am driving faster than I should be. It is not a concern to me, I just want to see if its length specific

To make this accurate you will need to know how many people have each type bed regardless of bounce. This poll is useless for statiscal information.

Wouldn't bed bounce be more related to wheel base not just bed length?

Not completely useless... he is looking to see out of those who have BB, what length is their Bed.

He is not trying to see what percentage of people have BB... just length of beds per people who do.

if he wanted it to be an accurate statistical investigation... first it would not really be on an internet poll where trolls will rome
second would be to just add another option for those who do not have BB.

Bed Bounce was an issue on my long bed when decelerating.

My solution was the addition of weight:
Line-X spray in bed liner
Toyota thick rubber bed mat
LEER high top cap
Class III towing hitch

I also installed HD Bilstein shocks.

I run 50 PSI in my tires and get a little bounce from an empty
bed on rougher roads. This light bounce is eliminated when I
carry my normal 400 pounds of gear in the bed.

HTH ~

Actually, it appears to be useless. More than likely what this poll is really showing is the ratio between people who own CM, DC, DC LB, RC, and RC LB who view this forum and this particular thread. Not what bed length is more likely going to bounce.

The most common owned truck here is the DC due to availability to date, and so far it is winning the poll...

I posted a link in the other thread to vote here if you had the bounce issue.

The regular cab comes standard with the 6.5' bed.
