Default Unichip - worth it or not?

Well, the Unichip ranges in prices from $565-$1000. Is it truly worth the money spent? I'm looking for better performance while towing.

I got one used for about $300. It definitely helped, but it didn't help enough to be worth paying full price.

Default Re: Unichip - worth it or not?

Could you tell me in what way the Unichip makes better performances, if any..?

I test drove the 2007 Tundra and was amazed that the top speed has been regulated, while there's still so much torque left...

Just out of curiousity, what does the Unichip do, exactly..??
