I have an iPhone. (Original since my area has no 3G).
The phone is wonderful as a mobile computer. It will do anything with the App store and is a great iPod.
Now that software 2.2 is out, I will say the phone is far less buggy than it was before. It will still crash and does not multitask. If you are a heavy texter, I would get a phone with a real keyboard. As good as the iPhone is, the keyboard isn't the easiest to type with.
If you are going to use a web browser a lot, get the iPhone. It is the best browser on a mobile device I've seen.

Also have an iPhone as well as a BB. I absolutley love my iPhone, it works great for my work phone but keeps me entertained as well. Being able to have applications makes it even better. iTunes gives me all my songs when I want them. Best thing about it though is WiFi. BB didn't have that

The newer BB offer wifi, mine has it, which is why I traded up from the Samsung Blackjack.

I have a BB Pearl...I am thinking I want an iPhone now...Maybe Verizon will offer better plans than AT&T. I like the whole app concept of the iPhone. I am not sure about the touch keyboard, however. I like real keys. I still have a few more months to decide.

The blackjack II is awesome have had it for over a year, and it's predecessor, the Blackjack, for a year before that. They do have a new ouchscreen one out....forgot what it's called.
The phone is very stable, grewat features, great reception and speakerphone, greast push email and IM, and it's really easy to type with.

i have a treo 700p and a BB pearl. the BB is ok, but the browser is horrible and basic functions require a ton of keystrokes. i got the pearl b/c my company paid for it (work phone) and is on at&t. it does sync w/outlook very well. i've had palm devices (personal) for a long time and love them.
i can't wait for the new palm pre. based on what i've seen it will obliterate the iPhone. it is small, has a touchscreen interface that's way better than iPhone, a slideout qwerty keyboard, an amazing web-linked OS that is open platform (linux), AND a flash player.

I am excited about the Palm Pre. The Sprint network doesn't look so hot, but after I move next year, it won't matter. Sprint has some amazing deals right now on their service plans.

I've heard that the Palm stuff is all outdated. I was never that impressed with the interface of the Centro circa 1998.
I think it's one of those things where it's like once you get used to it, there's no switching.
